SLJ || Cicadas Do Math

My timeline in the section below shows my prediction of how my life might be like this. So it starts from when I am 17 working by 17x timestables. So, I don't really know what will happen in the future but this is my prediction.

Theses are only my main things I want to do at these ages but I want to do many more like jump of a cliff    { with supervision of course }.

I don't want to grow up that fast. I want to enjoy my childhood because you are only a child once, when your an adult you won't have the comfort of being a child so I won't rush to grow.

Thank you,

Kind Regards, Alilia (>‿◠)✌ stay safe

Unity over uniforms

Should students be able to wear freely or represent their school by uniform? -

This is a topic that has came up a lot being a year 5. I mean, they both have their reasons and intentions but I genuinely stand towards uniforms.

Before I start, what do you think personally about this topic?
I think that we should wear uniforms to represent our school at events.
We should always ensure that the students/children are wearing appropriate clothes for special occasions.
I have been thinking about this one reason and we can come across it.

Sexist Behavior ......

As in boys can not wear ______ .
and girls can not wear ________ .

I think maybe to stop that argument from occurring we should just stick to uniforms.

To end off this writing I have a question -

What do you choose ....
That's it for today  -

Kind regards // Alilia

Coronavirus / || Writing ||

To be honest this is like a cycle that repeats continuously;  Anti - vacinaters are protesting against the vaccination that has been approved for the past months. It seems unfair at points, I know.  My perspective is that ....

Whenever people protest to not take the vaccination don't you see how it is. Well, I see clearly that when people protest against the vaccination they gather into one public place and that is how more positive covid results can occur. Though I think that anti vaccinators are taking risks I don't judge their opinion. We each have a different mind and soul, we have to look at all perspectives before deciding the rights and wrongs. When covid - 19 cases get produced and found out, most of the time they put us in deeper alert levels from their caution of the cases. Then some citizens react to that in a negative way which makes them protest.

So at the end of the day the question that lies in my brain is that are the anti vaccinators doing the right thing by protesting?

#Vaccinations

That is all for today folks, I might be wrong or right that is just my theory. I hope you have a great day everyone. Stay safe guys!!!!
Thank you for reading my writing  (>‿◠)✌

"Lock Down" 2021 word of the year 😷

As the year sets, I rethink everything. Currently I am a year 5 on the edge of becoming year 6.

Am I excited ;

Well, yes and no. That is what I call a "YEA NAH" situation. A mix of both worlds in yes and no.

~ Writing ~ :

I have not had the chance to go to school because of my loving parents. They just have that parent - ly vibe of protection, keeping me and my siblings safe is their first priority.

The word "Lock Down" is the word of my year. I find it unpleasing that we will not be basing our reports academic wise but instead like how we manage the time of our days. /

The worst thing that appears in my brain is that I will not have my math classes with Mrs Allan untill maybe the next year 😭😞 !!!!!

Although all the bad stuff I have spoken about lock down, TBH { to be honest } I think I have grown a more stronger relationship with my family. All that quality time has been amazing. I love always being surrounded by my loved ones. They brighten my day ....

I have gotten to attend the math classes with my sister and have been baking with her. If I had to choose whether to go to school or stay with whanau { family }, I would choose quality time with my FAMILY .

I think I have done an appreciative amount of work in the lockdown. I am willing to continue ....

A Simple act of Kindness / ~ W R I T I N G ~

Story Context: A Simple act of Kindness

Setting: KFC, home

I am wanting to improve on: Make some short sentences at some points,

Use new and improved vocabulary,  try out new sentence starters instead of the same.

So actually this is a true story from a two years ago, weather was as beautiful than you can believe, my happiness had arisen when I found out the great news. I found out that all of us siblings actually got a prize last year and my parents were so ecstatic of our achievements. I was proud myself of both me and my siblings. We actually wanted to celebrate  so we went to buy KFC to eat with my whole family. When we went to buy it we met with someone which said she new my mum and it was true. My mum also new her. She was my step auntie on my mum's side and my mum told her the great news. She felt very happy for us. She wanted to actually pay for our food but my mum said no, she did not want her to spend a lot of money on our food. My auntie kept insisting and my mum kept refusing until my auntie paid for it and spoke "It is the least I could do, congratulations and well done children". What she did that day was a very nice gesture. We actually wanted to give back to her so we actually gave her a bowl of trifle. We were happy that she got something back. After that day, she told my mum thank you for the trifle.

Sincerely from : ~Alilia~

[It comes to say that a simple act of kindness can change someone's day in a good way. Just doing something little is worth a lot more than you know. We should spread this happiness and cheer to everyone. Have a great day!!!]

When I first bungee jumped [ Only Creative writing Guys ]

Annyeonghaseyo yeoleobun [ Hi everyone, in Korean ], would you like to see some crazy and creative writing, well then here it is. Adventure, experiencing, epic event and frightening. I thought that maybe I should start sharing my writing more often so today [ if you have noticed by the title ] I will be sharing a ...
Piece of writing about "When I first bungee jumped" in the future.

Guys I know what you are thinking, how am I sure I am going to do it in the future. Well, I am not completely sure I am going to do this in the future but I one day want to and it might be terrifying but I really want to experience it. Plus, it is a nice piece of writing that I admire myself. It is an "fortunately and unfortunately" story.  Hope all of you like it and enjoy it.
[:> I love making creative writing and realistic writing at the same time. ✨].

STORY:  When I first bungee jumped from up over 200 feet!!!

✨PART 1

Fortunately, it was a good way to embrace life as I was now turning 21. I loved that swift breeze passing through my hair and the sunlight entering above my skin softly and highlighting my cheeks. Unfortunately, I wanted to live past 21 as well. I was shaking and shivering as they adjusted the straps around my waist and told me these exact words, “Everything will be Okay”.
At that moment I thought the exact opposite of it.

Fortunately, my older sister was there to hold my hand and go through this event (well, a terrifying experience) like she has been with me my whole entire life.  Unfortunately,  I was  conscious that my sister was as scared as I was because she was clutching so tightly onto my hand harder than I was.

✨PART 2
Fortunately, I leaped and it felt so lively and great at first and I was so glad my sister was by my side every single millisecond. My hair flew above my head and everything was feeling all light in my head. Unfortunately,  I was in a coma after it because I did not last the fall. No, I am just joking, but my arm was feeling sore and tired.

Fortunately, we came back all in one piece. I was glad that my sister enjoyed it blissfully. Unfortunately, I did not enjoy it that much and swore to never experience it again. Too risky.

[ Thank you for reading my writing, would you do this if not why. Sadly it has came to the end of this blog post. Have a great day/year! πŸ˜†πŸ˜Ž ]

If I was the prime Minister for 24 hours!!!

Kia Orana and talofa lava everyone, Today I decided to write about what would it be like if I was the prime minister. Whew, at least this is a story. It would be an honor to serve for this country with all it's people. I can not believe all the weight on your chest from the people of New Zealand relying on you with high expectations. Well, here it is

If I was the prime minister for 24 hours,

Hmm, that is a good question.

The first thing that comes to mind is the people themselves. I would try to provide them as much as they need but also balance the costs if we ever go into lock down. The reason and explanation for that is because we all have to keep safe in our bubbles and and spaces . I believe and I would want to achieve giving masks in the time of need not selling them for artistic matters. You can decorate them or create them but I feel that we the government should supply for our people. I would also look at the schools if they need to be supplied as in preschools all the way up to colleges and if so universities. That would be a very long day but it is worth it if the people are happy.

Wow what an ending.

THANK YOU, ALILIA

R4 HOMEWORK

Kia Ora everyone, I finished my homework and I should just share on my blog. It is about creating and customizing our own poems. To be honest, I have a poem but I am extremely shy to share it but I might have the guts to someday. Moreover, we had to do a lot of work that took me three days to finish. My goal was to try my best on it because normally I would take very long so it will be up to expectations but I managed to do both. Well, here it is.

THANK YOU,   Sincerely ALILIA

  • The Loud House Movie
  • Family Reunion
  • Vivo
  • Legend of Korra
  • Avatar: The Last Airbender
  • Fresh, Fried and Crispy
These are just some of the things I watch in my spare time.
Remember to leave a comment whether you watched any of these shows/movies or what you have watched in lockdown.

WRITING - PERSUASIVE PIECE

Kia Orana everyone, today I made a little piece of writing about why we should learn abut more cultures  and celebrate when it is their day. Here it is.

PURPOSE: To persuade

AUDIENCE: Peers

WALT: Use persuasive/emotive language

CONTEXT: What if we could celebrate all religious or other celebrations

STORY:

Celebrations, What are celebrations?

Well,to start, they are joyous celebrations and reflective celebrations.

How come we do not have these at school. It will help in writing to talk about it and would it be pleasing to only celebrate some cultures instead of most of them. It should only be a day to learn about it. If we had a choice would you pick our education or not. and Eid

Eid is a religious festival and is for spiritual reflection. It is at the end of the 10th lunar month. Worldwide, Muslim people celebrate it as a time to be gathered as a family or group. They start with morning prayers and gifting people. Eid is the time when they put on their finest costumes like dresses and suits.

Diwali

It originated in India , it is a worldwide celebration for hindu people from October till November. People Decorate pathways with patterns called rangoli. They are beautiful pathways, the patterns are amazing. It is known to be called “the light festival”.

These are the countries that celebrate these wondrous celebrations. Have you ever celebrated them? Well,no but we could start. I hope you lean into this idea. It is your choice.

Thanks for reading my Writing!!!

Lock Down Writing

Kia Ora koutou katoa, today I wrote about my theory about how Delta Variant started and how we try to stop it. Hope you enjoy this piece of writing!!!

Covid - 19, Delta Variant, What is the next one?
This continuous curse, Our people asking for an explanation about everything, it is all happening in accelerating time.  What is going to happen . . .
I ‘m afraid I think I understand why this has happened.
My  theory is that as we all know in our late 2020 covid - 19 struck like lightning to us  and it felt like a horrific nightmare. People losing their jobs . Luckily ,it ended after a long period of time. After all of it, everyone forgot to be cautious because even though the cases came down, that deadly disease was still out there but we did n't care . We thought we would never come across it again. Everyone started touching a lot of surfaces and gaining germs. That is how we created the delta Variant isn't it?!
107 cases still in contact. If I had to take the covid-19 vaccine I would be scared of going to the place's that require The Vaccines. we could all use A 2nd Chance for anything right but we should all  choose to erase the past of when we didn't care and do the  and do the exact opposite which is doing the right thing. The government is aware of what is creating this disease but hopefully in lock down the people will be safe.
Stay home to be safe!!!

Story About Eid

What is happening in the world?

Well a variety of things happen everywhere and there are some more serious than others but today I will be talking about something more cheerful happening  for Muslims. Hundreds of thousands of Muslim people celebrating a celebration called   Eid AL-Fitr .The definition of it is very cheerful,  Eid AL-Fitr means  ‘festival of the breaking of the fast’. It is celebrated because it is the end of Ramadan. Ramadan is when Muslim people ended their fasting of not eating for one month. It is for spiritual reflection, prayer and doing good deeds.Ramadan it is for reflection of your spiritual side  and for doing good deeds in the community or something that can make a good improvement in the world. As because I grew up learning from a religion that is  general to Muslims to me it is a very cheerful celebration.

What,where,when,how,why.

Task Description:
Room 4 had to write about one of the special events that are happening worldwide. My challenge was to create an informative piece of writing. HOPE you ENJOY!!!

The Recent Developed Playground

Kia Ora everyone, today I have made a quick writing about Our New playground! It is talking about my favorite obstacle in the park. Hope you enjoy it.

The recent developed Park

During almost the end of school yesterday,I was feeling that afternoon excited but anxious as well because that time there were juniors there and couldn't ensure their safety when there were seniors (room 4,1,7).The park recently developed a lot from how it used to look. The appearance is better and modern. I think my most favorite was the monkey bars firstly because I could stand while clutching on to the bars while walking, secondly because it can tell how you grip or adjust on to something while going across all of them.It is also a very active obstacle and is delightful to a various amount of people.Although, I think the park is great better than how it used to be,I still despise one other obstacle but that is another story for another time.
