~ How my morning started ~

Feeling a bit drowsy [yawn], Man I had a nice time just sleeping though. I wish I could just sleep for centuries but sadly no. I wanted to do some work before I go to my class meeting. I had my breakfast and it really made me full.  My sister had made these cookies from "Squid Game". We had to do all types of shapes. My sister gave me a hard one while she had the easiest. I gave up in the end because it took me looonger ... than ever, and I mean almost a whole quarter of an hour. Right now, which is the time that I am currently writing about now, was okay. I sat down with the cookies that I had received and watch Netflix. My whole life was Netflix but now I have to say goodbye 😭😞
to that life and be more focused on our "Last term" of 2021.

My Day [ Yesterday ]

The day came to an end, so i'm writing about my day, lets go.

I had woken up from a great sleep 😴 and my mother had given us some breakfast which was ramen/noodle, it was easy to make, simple, and overall a great warm meal πŸ˜‹to start off my usually boring day.

After a while I had went outside to play some games with my siblings, we had did some soccer first and then my sister made a course for us to run around and have fun, it was effortless and not hard at all.

Coming near the end we were called inside to eat dinner, we had mince pie which I helped my dad and mum previously to make, the pie was great but everyone knows that dessert is the cherry-on-top for the day so my dessert was salted caramel ice-cream which I don't like as much as my siblings but I didn't really mind the taste.

At the end of the day which is the current time that I'm writing this, i think that my day was pretty great, arguing with my siblings is common so I don't count that with my day ( BTW I win all the arguments and fights ✨>:>) but yeah that ends my day :) thanks for reading πŸ˜†

Netflix

Since lockdown occurred I bet people have been streaming movies and TV shows on Netflix just like me. I'm only guessing but I'm 100% sure that you have been watching Stranger Things or The Loud House Movie. Here are some of the things that are on my whatchlist.

  • The Loud House Movie
  • Family Reunion
  • Vivo
  • Legend of Korra
  • Avatar: The Last Airbender
  • Fresh, Fried and Crispy
These are just some of the things I watch in my spare time.
Remember to leave a comment whether you watched any of these shows/movies or what you have watched in lockdown.

Transum - Particular Pipes

Kia Ora, today we had a session with Mrs Allan. It was all about percentages. So my sibling and sister gave me the idea to practice how to do percentages so I can in hence that capability of doing it for the upcoming year. It is fun to learn about something that I will only need to have capability in  a year so that is incredible.

It is so fun connecting with my sister when she helps me and I help her.  To think really that lock down is really that bad and humid because it is is but there are sections of this lock down I will cherish. The work that I did explains to understand percentages. I t is really important because as you grow older it will help make it better and way more easier in life.

So, I did all the puzzles that I saw and I first did not know about it clearly but as I went further I understood it and actually thought it was easy. Here is an image below that I had took because of my great achievement. How I did my first question was just seeing if it was an even number and my options above it.

My choice selections were 100%, 33.3%, 50%,  25%,  20%,  and last of all 10%. I had to use 4 pieces so I started with small numbers and had to use my division skills. I did 20+20+20+ 60 and needed a big number that had to be 50% because there was the number 50 left in the total to make my answer.

THANK YOU FOR READING MY WRITING!!!

MAKING DONUTS !!!

Talofa lava and bula vinaka,
freezing temperature, craving for something hot. steamy and delicious.
   DONUTS!
They were fried and made in no time.
They tasted delicious when I made a nice glaze for it.
Here is what I did

8 cups of plain flour, plus 2 cups extra for kneading
3 cups of warm water
2 1/2 tablespoons of active dry yeast (or 3 sachets)
1 cup of warm milk
2 cups of sugar
1/3 cup of oil (or melted butter)
3 eggs

I firstly whisked the yeast & warm water together in a medium bowl, set aside for 5 minutes.
In a large mixing bowl, I gently combined 8 cups of flour with the sugar, make a well.
I then whisked milk, oil & eggs into yeast mixture then pour into the flour/sugar bowl. Using my left hand I mixed the ingredients together, until the dough is smooth. "The mixture will be quite sticky"  is what I thought when I made it and my theory was correct. I Covered & left it to rise until it doubled in size ( 1-1 ½ hours).
I transfer the dough onto floured bench, to knead the dough, adding flour as I went  until the dough began  to have had sufficient flour added that it is less sticky, and more manageable. Then I broke  off 40 chunks of dough to make each doughnut. I kneaded each dough into a ball & set aside.
Heat oil in a large pot. I had to test oil with a small piece of dough (should rise & brown lightly within seconds).

To make the donuts I , pierced a hole in the middle of the dough with my finger, then slightly stretched it out and span it around your finger to enlarge the hole to about 3 cm, then carefully lower the donuts into the hot oil, turning the donuts as you go. Fry for about 3 minutes or until golden brown & cooked through. Transfer onto a rack to drain and cool.

Lock Down Writing

Kia Ora koutou katoa, today I wrote about my theory about how Delta Variant started and how we try to stop it. Hope you enjoy this piece of writing!!!

Covid - 19, Delta Variant, What is the next one?
This continuous curse, Our people asking for an explanation about everything, it is all happening in accelerating time.  What is going to happen . . .
I ‘m afraid I think I understand why this has happened.
My  theory is that as we all know in our late 2020 covid - 19 struck like lightning to us  and it felt like a horrific nightmare. People losing their jobs . Luckily ,it ended after a long period of time. After all of it, everyone forgot to be cautious because even though the cases came down, that deadly disease was still out there but we did n't care . We thought we would never come across it again. Everyone started touching a lot of surfaces and gaining germs. That is how we created the delta Variant isn't it?!
107 cases still in contact. If I had to take the covid-19 vaccine I would be scared of going to the place's that require The Vaccines. we could all use A 2nd Chance for anything right but we should all  choose to erase the past of when we didn't care and do the  and do the exact opposite which is doing the right thing. The government is aware of what is creating this disease but hopefully in lock down the people will be safe.
Stay home to be safe!!!

Lock down FUN!!!

 Malo leilei everyone,

"Stay at home,  Be patient for when we find a solution to this disease" is all I hear. Firstly I want to say thank you for all the supporters in medical wise and most people of New Zealand that are staying in their own space because of this disease. Secondly, While I was at home I took the time and opportunity took something delicious and will suit a great meal. FETTUCCINE!!!!!!!

Yes, I took almost an hour and included effort into trying to make fettuccine for the fifth time. I mean after five times of making it, it will be easy right?

It was not  easy at all,but I tried my best in the end it was a success and my parents approved at it. I felt proud of myself, until . . . my sister criticized it and said I cooked more earlier than you.

Try it out yourself!

Remember to be safe and stay at home!

Ingredients for Fettuccine Recipe :

Kosher salt

1 lb. fettuccine

1/2 c. heavy cream

1/2 c. (1 stick) butter
