Midnight Crave
Last night I essentially made something I like to call a "circular brownie" because it was literally a circular brownie. Really, there is something that I love about literal naming. Anyways, I guess it was successful mission { okay, that's lies } . I love making brownies.
My favorite desert might be an ice cream sundae but there is no rules that there can not be two favorites.
Here is how to make it.
Ingredients -
250g Tararua Butter
½ cup cocoa powder
1 ½ cups Chelsea White Sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 cup Edmonds Standard Grade Flour
1 tsp Edmonds Baking Powder
Method -
Preheat oven to 180°C bake. Line an 18 x 28cm sponge roll tin with baking paper.
Melt Tararua Butter in a saucepan large enough to mix all ingredients in. Mix in cocoa, remove from heat and stir in Chelsea White Sugar.
Add eggs and mix well, then add vanilla essence. Sift in Edmonds Standard Grade Flour and Edmonds Baking Powder and mix to combine. Pour into prepared tin.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until brownie springs back when touched lightly.
{ Thank you, have a great DAY!!!! ๐}
"Lock Down" 2021 word of the year ๐ท
As the year sets, I rethink everything. Currently I am a year 5 on the edge of becoming year 6.
Am I excited ;
Well, yes and no. That is what I call a "YEA NAH" situation. A mix of both worlds in yes and no.
~ Writing ~ :
I have not had the chance to go to school because of my loving parents. They just have that parent - ly vibe of protection, keeping me and my siblings safe is their first priority.
The word "Lock Down" is the word of my year. I find it unpleasing that we will not be basing our reports academic wise but instead like how we manage the time of our days. /
The worst thing that appears in my brain is that I will not have my math classes with Mrs Allan untill maybe the next year ๐ญ๐ !!!!!
Although all the bad stuff I have spoken about lock down, TBH { to be honest } I think I have grown a more stronger relationship with my family. All that quality time has been amazing. I love always being surrounded by my loved ones. They brighten my day ....
I have gotten to attend the math classes with my sister and have been baking with her. If I had to choose whether to go to school or stay with whanau { family }, I would choose quality time with my FAMILY .
I think I have done an appreciative amount of work in the lockdown. I am willing to continue ....
