The Background story of the inspirational "Maya Angelou"

Originated from Missouri, she was an inspirational woman to thousands of people, including myself. I got inspired by her poems that I chose to perform at the poetry recital in my school, it was very scary. She stood up for what was right, their own civil rights. Well, today I am going to be talking about somethings that happened in her past before she became a rightful leader. We are going to start from the beginning. d her brother went to live with their grandmother in "Stamps, Arkanas". When she was at the age of eight she had gotten raped by her mother's boyfriend. She used that emotion to write realistic poems about what she went through and how it was always going to be hard. When she revealed the information to her uncles, they kicked that vicious culprit until his death. Sadly, Maya Angelou was frightened so much that she chose to stay mute in front of people even her only family for a few years. What would it feel like to experience that sort of thing? The pain, the agony and the petrifying feeling of your past . I wish not to experience it but hope that it is stopped.
