Mathmatician Timeline

Malo leilei everyone, today in our math session we actually looked at a bit of science. We saw the complete timeline of famous and intelligent mathematicians. I could no believe it and to believe that they invented many things in the stone ages to become a Mathematician. If I could travel back in time, I would have loved to be one of the first people from modern generation to see them. I myself would want to be a surgeon but being a mathematician seems exciting. So many types of maths to teach to the next generation. It would be FANTASTIC!

THANK YOU,     ALILIA

This is an imge of our modern day mathematicians.

Would you like to one day become a mathematician, if so why?

I will be still doing blog posts in the holidays so I do not forget the maths and everything else that I have learnt in lockdown.

Would you like to one day become a mathematician, if so why?

That is all for today, I hope everyone has a fantastic holiday!!!

Protec Math test

Kia Ora, talofa and Malo leilei to everyone. Today in the maths session with Mrs Allan, we did the protec maths test from 6 to 8. The first test was not as threatening as the stage 8, it got a bit more harder. I recognized the place value after reflecting on it for a bit. The rest was just "HCF and LCM". Here is the certificate.

Steven Universe Graphic Novels 5: Crystal Clean (~ Epic~) Reading

Kia Orana everyone, today I was just looking for homework in my spare time and I saw that I could do some epic reading. I read Steven Universe Graphic Novels 5: Crystal Clean. It was awesome. To be honest, it is not better than the animated series but it was very interesting to read. It was all about their adventure . . .  cleaning the house. It was more better than I thought. I do not want to spoil it for everyone but you should really check it out!!!

Mostly, when it occurs to my 8x timetables and 7x timetables.I love playing lemon law and algebraic notation. I would rate transum 10/10 if I were a judge. Here are some transum games that I have enjoyed playing.

"Unfortunately" or "Fortunately" Writing

Malo lei lie everyone ,today I did a piece of writing showing the writing tense of "Unfortunately" and "Fortunately". These are adverbs meaning  that "An adverb is a word used to tell more about a verb".

Her is my piece of writing about My birthday.

STORY: My Birthday

Fortunately, my birthday arrived and I was in that blissful moment feeling ecstatic!!!

Unfortunately, a few family members could not make it due to the afternoon weather forecast.

Fortunately, I was filled with joy in those heartfelt moments of unwrapping those love crafted gifts. Unfortunately, I felt like I did not deserve it, it was too good to be hopefully true.

Fortunately,  the guests enjoyed their night as much as I did and it all ended with me doing a traditional “Tau'olunga” to my people to say thank you.Unfortunately, the night came to an end and everyone started to leave after saying goodbye to me.

Fortunately, I enjoyed my night and wished so badly it would be replayed  again.

THANK YOU, ALILIA

MORNING FEEDING

MAKING FETTUCCINE AND GARLIC BREAD!

Bula vinaka everyone, last night  my sister created fettuccine and garlic bread. It was scrumptious!!! We said that both our fettuccine were equal but I think her meal was a slight bit better because she added chili flakes with her seasoning. For the ingredients , here is the link
FETTUCCINE to my fettuccine blog post. Remember she added chili flakes.  For the garlic bread my sister used thick bread and put a slice of butter on top with coriander and garlic. Lastly then she put strips of cheese and gently placed them into the oven to bring that crispiness.

THANK YOU,  Sincerely from ALILIA

WAYNO THE WRESTLER

TOITOI CERTIFICATE

MAKING A DELICIOUS COCONUT DESERT!!!

Talofa  lava and Malo e lelei tama, today I made for desert with my mum some coconut rolls, in Tonga they call it ngaahi tohi taliui niu.

This is the ingredients and instructions:

20 frozen dinner rolls depending on size (see note above for homemade rolls)

10 oz. coconut milk (1 can)

1 c. sugar

INSTRUCTIONS TO MAKING IT LIKE HOW I DID:
Coat a 9×13 glass baking dish with cooking spray and arrange rolls evenly to thaw (if doing homemade rolls, roll dough into golf-ball size balls and arrange the same way).
Cover with plastic wrap sprayed with cooking spray (to keep dough from sticking to the plastic wrap).
Allow to rise until doubled in size.  This can take 4-5 hours.  If you need the rolls to thaw quicker, follow the quick-rise instructions on the frozen roll packaging.
Pre-heat oven to 350-degrees.
In a bowl, combine coconut milk and sugar and whisk until sugar is dissolved.

MATH SESSION

Malo e lelei ki he taha kotoa, today I also did bidmas in my maths session and almost at the end of the meeting we had review of bidmas because we had forgotten what it was. We learnt a lot in the process.

Here is the game on transum named bidmas that we used as an example to learn from.

MATH SESSION

Kia Ora everyone, today I was in the Math Session with Mrs Allan and the other students. In the meeting there was me, DJ, foli ,Mrs Allan, Pita, Renei, sonny and more. We were still working on the year 10 algebra but then we moved onto playing some kahoots after we understood it. I came in first place in the first one, the topic was finding out algebraic equations. The second kahoot was about bidmas. I came in third place. I enjoyed every second of it.

If I was the prime Minister for 24 hours!!!

Kia Orana and talofa lava everyone, Today I decided to write about what would it be like if I was the prime minister. Whew, at least this is a story. It would be an honor to serve for this country with all it's people. I can not believe all the weight on your chest from the people of New Zealand relying on you with high expectations. Well, here it is

If I was the prime minister for 24 hours,

Hmm, that is a good question.

The first thing that comes to mind is the people themselves. I would try to provide them as much as they need but also balance the costs if we ever go into lock down. The reason and explanation for that is because we all have to keep safe in our bubbles and and spaces . I believe and I would want to achieve giving masks in the time of need not selling them for artistic matters. You can decorate them or create them but I feel that we the government should supply for our people. I would also look at the schools if they need to be supplied as in preschools all the way up to colleges and if so universities. That would be a very long day but it is worth it if the people are happy.

Wow what an ending.

THANK YOU, ALILIA

R4 MEETING

Malo leilei everyone, today we did a google meet about blog post. As you know everyone from year 4 to 8 be all had blogs so room 4 decided that we had to create as many blog posts next week so that we can upgrade our blogs to be filled with various amount of things. R4 HOMEWORK

Kia Ora everyone, I finished my homework and I should just share on my blog. It is about creating and customizing our own poems. To be honest, I have a poem but I am extremely shy to share it but I might have the guts to someday. Moreover, we had to do a lot of work that took me three days to finish. My goal was to try my best on it because normally I would take very long so it will be up to expectations but I managed to do both. Well, here it is.

THANK YOU,   Sincerely ALILIA

MATH SESSION

Kia ora koutou katoa, today I recently played a game to try and learn about brackets in algebra. The method I seemed to understand was the box method because I had not experienced how to do it and answer any of these correctly. After some time, I got a pattern that I could clearly see. I passed all of level 6 and it was a very big surprise to myself. I thought I could not achieve it but I did and it was all because of Mrs Allan. She has helped a lot of students including myself  to achieve math more than our year level like the year 10 bracket maths. She has helped immensely.

ALILIA,  Thank You

This is the image from when I finished the math and just about to claim my trophy:

THANK YOU, Alilia

MATH SESSION

Malo leilei everyone, today  I tried out a new site called Coordinates picture. A very fun site on transum that is related to another similar site called Graph Match. It is geometry. I was confused because of the x axis at first. When Mrs Allan was explaining it it was still confusing but as we got further on into the meeting she started showing us an example and I understood it. I also took notes so I can try it out after the meeting. The images shown below are the successful pictures that I did. It is level 1,2,3 and last of all 4.

THANK YOU, Alilia

MATH

Malo leilei everyone, today we played plotting graphs in transum. We had to look at what "y" equals to and see what the numbers are so that we can figure out the answer to the equations. Here is my progress on the first level I made it up to level 4.

THANK YOU, Alilia

TROPHIES UPDATE

Kia Ora everyone, today I will be making a T - DAY to explain how much trophies on transum I have. My goal is to get 100 or more on trasum before the next two days. The year 5,6,7 and 8s are having a competition of who does the most blog posts of what they have learned in maths  whether it's algebra or numeracy. Also, who wins the most trophies on transum. I hope that I win or my sister. Right now I only have 72 trophies but I will do a lot to reach 100!!
