Kia Ora everyone, I am doing the summer learning journey program this holiday. I recently made a catapult with my brother Alamoni for what we had to make to complete Nanogirl's task she had given us.
The items that we used was a ruler, sellotape, a book and a bottle cap. It took some time but we finally got there. It still has some little errors like how it shakes a lot when it is used. I think it was a good try. Here is the result.
My name is Kiana and I am a blog commenter for the Summer Learning Journey. Awesome to see you and your brother have taken part in the first activity of the program. Your brother should also share this post on his blog so you can both get points for your epic work.
I remember playing with a toy catapult when i was younger and how me and my sister would find random objects around the house and see how far they would go. Lots of fun involved in this activity.
Kia ora Alilia, very excited to see that you and Alamoni are collaborating on the Summer Learning Journey together. I agree, it is important to keep trying different solutions. Every time you discover something that doesn't work it helps with your next move.
Kia Ora Alilia.
