SLJ:Summer Song Maker

Kia Ora. What a shiny day today and while most children are doing the summer learning journey! Today I made an instrumental song on a site called "Chrome music lab" which in that site I used" Song maker the instrument that made the song was "strings and the beats I used were " electronic". Here is the result.

reply as soon as I see it.  Bye!

  1. Kia ora Alilia, this is Elle from the Summer Learning Journey.

Ka pai - thank you for sharing your terrific summer song! You have created such a complex melody and I thoroughly enjoyed bopping along to it! I really like the beat that you’ve included too - I think it’s great that it comes and goes because it makes such a big impact!

If you were to name your song, what would you call it? And have you written a song before? You are quite a talented composer!

Because you have done so well at the kick-start part of the activity, it would be awesome to see you step it up as well and share it to your blog! If you go into the settings bar, you can change the key - if you wanted to change the sound to an A major scale or something similar to see how it sounds. I used an F major scale for my song; you’ll be surprised how much you can do!

Writing songs is one of my favourite ways to pass the time, and I actually had a go at this activity too because it looks like so much fun! If you would like to check out what I’ve made, you can click here. Feel free to let me know what you think!

I’m so glad to hear that it’s sunny and shiny where you are today! It’s quite cloudy where I am, so I’m pleased to hear you have nicer weather!

Keep up the great work Alilia - I thoroughly enjoyed listening to your tune!

  2. Thank you very much for some updates. I am glad that you enjoyed it. The name would be summer beats because they all are about summer. The first song I ever made was with my siblings and we made it for our parents because they were having trouble with stuff.

    1. Kia ora Alilia, you are most welcome and it is wonderful to hear from you!

Summer Beats is a great name for your song. Especially because it’s so groovy - I can definitely imagine myself having a boogie to this song on the beach! Have you been to the beach yet this summer? I have been a couple of times, but wish I could get out there in the surf a bit more before the summer ends!

That is so sweet that you and your siblings wrote a song to cheer up your parents; I'm sure they really appreciated such a thoughtful gesture!

I hope you have a great week and thank you again for sharing your awesome song!
