SLJ:Nanogirl's Experiment 1

Hello there. Today I did the Nanogirl task with my brother. I like to spend my summer with my siblings so I got my brother to join in an my sister taught me how to hold it. The items we used was a cup and a piece of cardboard. When we were doing it the cardboard started to get soggy and wet. We filled the cup with water and put the cardboard on top then flipped it upside down to see if the water comes out. I was really scared that I would bump into a wall and make the water fall out. Here is the result.

Renee from the Summer Learning Journey Team, here. Ka pai for your work on this Nanogirl experiment - I still can’t believe that the cardboard is able to keep all of that water in the glass, so amazing! I particularly like that you included your siblings in the experiment process as it is awesome to spend time with whānau during the summer months. I also like that you have included photographs of yourself completing the experiment - this is a great way to make your blog posts unique and stand-out. Did you find this experiment fun or challenging?

I see that you have also completed the “Step it Up” part of this activity in a separate post. That is awesome and means you have earned extra points towards your Summer Learning Journey tally.

What have been your favourite Summer Learning Journey activities so far?

Keep up the excellent mahi, I can't wait to see your other posts over the summer.

    Mā te wā
