Kia Ora Everyone. It is a wonderful new year. Doing the Summer learning Journey is a blast. Today I was making patterns with a piece of string and I also read a really cool book. The title was "Whai". It is by Kiwa Hammond and illustrated by Adele Jackson. Here is the result.

WOW, you have made a very cool pattern out of the string, did you have a go at trying out the cup and saucer pattern? Nice job reading the book Whai, did you enjoy it? What was your favourite part of this task?
I had never made a cup and saucer pattern out of string before, so I thought that this activity was so much fun! Had you made string patterns before? Have you tried any other patterns other than the cup and saucer pattern?
