Math Study Notes // Part 1

 Math Notes for 2022 -

Binary numbers:

Remember that the binary numeral system is a way to write numbers using only two digits: 0 and 1. As there are only two options, they can only represent two different digits, 0 and 1. This is called the binary number system, or base two. ("Bi" means two.) All the numbers are constructed from the two digits 0 and 1.

Factors - A smaller whole number that can be multipled by another whole number.

Prime Number - A number that can only be divided by itself and 1

*by the way, 1 does not count as a prime or composite number

Multiples - The result of one number being multipled by another

E.g. 8 times tables || 8 x 6 = 48 || 8 x 7 = 56 || 8 x 8 = 64
